These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of RouteScan. By using RouteScan, you agree to these terms.
Service Description
RouteScan provides tools for uploading route files, comparing routes with navigational warning information, and generating downloadable files or reports for passage-planning support.
Account Access
RouteScan uses Google sign-in for authentication. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for all activity that occurs through your RouteScan account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse RouteScan, attempt to disrupt the service, upload unlawful or harmful content, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use RouteScan in a way that violates applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
Uploaded Files and Outputs
You are responsible for the route files you upload and for checking any RouteScan output before using it. RouteScan may process, store, and display uploaded files and generated outputs as needed to provide the service.
No Professional Navigation Advice
RouteScan is provided as a planning aid only. It does not replace the judgment of the master, officer of the watch, navigator, pilot, company procedures, official notices, approved charts, navigation systems, or any legal or regulatory requirement.
Availability and Changes
RouteScan may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Features, data sources, and outputs may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or inaccurate.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RouteScan and its operator are not liable for losses, damages, claims, delays, navigational decisions, route changes, incidents, or consequences arising from use of or reliance on RouteScan.
