RouteScan helps signed-in users upload passage plan files and generate route-related navigational warning outputs. This Privacy Policy explains what information RouteScan collects, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google, RouteScan receives basic account information needed to create and secure your account, such as your name, email address, and Google account identifier. RouteScan also stores route files you upload, generated route-warning outputs, account activity needed to operate the service, and technical information such as session cookies and server logs.
How We Use Information
RouteScan uses this information to authenticate users, provide the route scanning workspace, process uploaded route files, generate downloadable warning files and reports, maintain service security, troubleshoot errors, and improve reliability.
Google User Data
RouteScan uses Google sign-in only for authentication and account creation. RouteScan does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or other Google product content. Google account information is used only to identify the user and operate the RouteScan account.
Sharing Information
RouteScan does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when needed to operate hosting, storage, authentication, security, or support services; to comply with law; to protect RouteScan, its users, or others; or with your direction or consent.
Data Retention and Security
RouteScan keeps account information and uploaded route data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, or meet legal obligations. Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You may stop using RouteScan at any time. To request account or data deletion, contact the service operator using the support contact provided in the Google OAuth consent screen or on the RouteScan website.
